An AI assistant with a specific task and clear limits

Answering repeated questions, organising an enquiry or preparing a draft can take time away from the person who needs to resolve it. Taldrivo assesses AI assistants for those tasks, defining what information they can use, what they can do and when they should ask for help.

The project starts with a problem and a way to evaluate responses. Adding conversation to a website does not by itself demonstrate better service or more sales.

What an initial scope can include

  • Explaining services using content you have reviewed.
  • Gathering requirements and returning a summary for the person to confirm.
  • Finding information within a defined set of documents with agreed access permissions.
  • Preparing a reply or classification for review before action.

If a form or deterministic rule is enough, it may be the simpler solution. Workflow automation helps separate stable decisions from tasks that require language interpretation.

Example: preparing an enquiry without committing to an offer

An illustrative scope is a text assistant on a service business website. It asks about the goal, current tools and expected outcome, then shows a summary to correct and confirm.

If asked for an unapproved price or deadline, it leaves that question for review. If it cannot find enough information, it says so and offers a written contact route. The responsible person assesses fit before issuing a proposal.

This example does not establish a client implementation or promise continuous availability. Voice, messaging and external system connections are assessed separately; they are not included by default in a text assistant.

Sources, permissions and actions

The scope should identify approved documents, who updates them, which users can consult them and what information is retained. Content received from visitors or documents should not grant the assistant new permissions.

Sending messages, changing records or taking payments requires authorisation and controls outside the model’s response. The assistant identifies itself as AI and does not freely decide prices, terms or commitments. Integrations are checked for each system.

How to assess quality before expanding

Prepare representative questions and expected answers, including missing information, conflicting instructions and out-of-scope requests. Assess accuracy, usefulness, handover to a person, data exposure and cost per task using an agreed test set.

Acceptance should also cover an unavailable provider and a written alternative that lets the person continue. A workflow demo does not establish AI response quality: review the enquiry-to-follow-up demo according to what it actually tests.

Costs and maintenance

Sources, permissions, connections, review criteria and volume affect the work. Model and other provider usage are separate from implementation and maintenance; usage limits and what happens when they are reached should be agreed.

Changing documentation or models can change responses. Agree who reviews those changes and repeats relevant tests. Perfect accuracy, guaranteed savings and unlimited oversight are not offered.

Describe a conversation you want to improve

Share a fictional question, a useful answer and what the assistant should never decide on its own. Leave confidential documents out of the first message.
